Your messages are stored encrypted at rest and in transit using industry-standard encryption. Files are hosted on a major US-based cloud provider with SOC 2 compliance.
Backups
We keep encrypted backups so your messages survive a hardware failure on our side. When you delete a message, it's purged from live storage within 24 hours and from backup snapshots within 90 days.
Exports
You can export your full vault at any time from Settings → Export. The export includes:
- Original media files (video, audio, text)
- Scheduled delivery metadata
- A human-readable index
Exports are available as a downloadable archive. Premium and Lifetime users can also enable scheduled exports to a personal cloud drive.
