Buying a Lifetime as a gift, redeeming one, and what makes them transferable.

Lifetime memberships are designed to be giftable.
Buying a gift
Go to /gift. You'll get:
- A redemption code delivered by email at a date you choose (today, Father's Day, a birthday)
- A printable card if you want to hand it over in person
- The ability to include a short personal message
The recipient redeems with a single click. They don't need an existing account — the gift creates one if needed.
Redeeming a gift
If someone gave you a code: visit /gift/redeem, enter the code, and the Lifetime is applied to your account. If you already had a Premium subscription, your remaining time is credited and Premium converts to Lifetime.
Transferability
A Lifetime gift can be transferred to a different recipient before it's redeemed — useful if the dad you intended already has a Lifetime account, or you got the email wrong. Email support@whatwoulddadsay.app with the original purchase email and the new recipient's email; we'll move it.
After redemption, the Lifetime is tied to the redeeming account and isn't transferable.
