Changing your email or password.
Settings → Account. Two-factor stays attached to the new email.

Change your email
Settings → Account → Change email. We send a verification link to the new address; click it to confirm. The change takes effect when you click the link.
If you have two-factor turned on, it carries over. Recipients you've already designated keep getting messages at their addresses — your email change doesn't affect them.
Change your password
Settings → Account → Change password. You'll need your current password to set a new one.
If you've forgotten your current password, use Forgot password? at sign-in. We email a reset link to the address on file.
Two-factor authentication
We strongly recommend turning on two-factor (Settings → Security → Two-factor). Use an authenticator app — we don't recommend SMS-based 2FA for accounts that carry messages this important to you.
