Delivery & scheduling

Scheduling by date or milestone.

Pick a calendar date, a life milestone, or send today. Here's how each works.

Updated

You decide when each message is delivered. Three options:

Specific date

Calendar date. Their 18th birthday, a particular Christmas, the morning of a known event. The message is delivered at 9 a.m. in the recipient's local time zone, or a time you choose.

Life milestone

A milestone is something tied to their life, not the calendar. Examples:

  • First day of college
  • The day they move out
  • Their wedding day
  • The day they become a parent
  • Hard times — a breakup, a layoff, a loss

For most milestones, the recipient (or a co-admin) marks the moment when it happens, and the message is released within 24 hours. For age-based milestones (turning 18, turning 30) we deliver on the date.

Send today

Self-explanatory. The recipient gets the message within a few minutes.

Editing the schedule

You can change the schedule any time before delivery. After delivery, the message is in the recipient's vault and can't be recalled.
